Welcome to Western Downland Primary School
One school in two villages, working with parents to give children "The roots to grow and the wings to fly".
We aim to foster the friendly, family atmosphere and ethos of a village school, providing children with the quality and breadth of opportunity which allows every child to achieve. We regard our school as a learning community, encouraging children to develop skills and dispositions for life-long learning in their journey towards fulfilling their goals and aspirations.
The school offers an enriched and dynamic curriculum to ensure that learning is something to enjoy and be memorable. As a Church of England Primary School, we aim to prepare children for their future life through an understanding and knowledge of Christianity. We promote Christian values such as tolerance, honesty, compassion and kindness, within a safe, supportive and happy community.
