About our School

A Welcome from the Headteacher, Kim Wilcox

‘ As a federated school we have two sites but remain one school. We aim to preserve the atmosphere and ethos of a village school whilst providing children with the breadth of educational opportunities and experience which is right for each child. We enable the children to take advantage of a wide range of educational and physical acivities and provide them with a broad base for social contact with a relatively large peer group.

The school places great emphasis on learning beyond the classroom and each year group's curriculum is enriched with trips and expert visitors.

As a Church of England Primary School, we aim to prepare children for their future life through an understanding and knowledge of Christianity, and develop in them an awareness of tolerance of others.

We are proud of our reputation for traditional values, a caring and secure environment and high attainment. We achieve our aims through partnership with parents and an exceptional team of teachers and support staff.’
