INCLUSION & SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

We value every child and enjoy celebrating every step of progress made. Children with identified Special Educational Needs or a disability are closely monitored and supported. We have highly trained teaching and support staff who work as a team to support the needs of all children. We also subscribe to the Hampshire Educational Psychologist Service to ensure we have access to additional specialist professional expertise.

My name is Alice Richardson. I am the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Co-ordinator. I work with the teaching staff and Learning Assistants to help identify children who may have a SEN and ensure that we support them throughout the school. I am a trained teacher of ten years and have an MSc and a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Special Education. I am passionate about promoting positive emotional health and work to understand children’s learning needs. I believe, with the right intervention and support, all children can work to their potential.
